After more than ten weeks under California’s Shelter at Home order, the Meissner Jacquét team is excited to start returning to the office. What does that look like in our new normal, you ask? Lots of new signage, additional glass dividers, temperature checks, and wearing masks when not at our desks, just to name a few of the changes. Effective last Friday, in accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order, the Meissner Jacquet staff began working remotely. As an essential business, we remain fully operational, with the majority of our staff working from home and a handful of key people in the office. In early March, Meissner Jacquet did a work from home drill for in preparation for a Shelter at Home scenario. Please rest assured that we are and will continue to work during this time. All of our staf...f has the equipment they need and desk phones have been forwarded to mobile phones. We are working with vendors to ensure vital services are still provided. Our executive team is closely monitoring the developments related to COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, industry partners, tenants, clients, our families, and our community are our highest priority. We have put several policies and procedures in place to mitigate the risks, in accordance with CDC recommendations, so that we can continue to operate. Our property managers in the field who are primarily handling vendor supervision and tenant relations, will continue to do so while minimizing direct contact with vendors and tenants. The property managers have been instructed to maintain a safe distance of six feet from all individuals, as well as to refrain from handshaking. The duration of this Shelter at Home order is unknown but Meissner Jacquet is fully operational and continues to service customer needs with management and accounting services.
