It’s been a tough month (a tough year, really ) for the beauty industry to say the least. Trying my best to stay positive with all the ups and downs of 2020. DM or text me if you’re wanting to look salon fresh for the holidays

I’ve been loving all the fall colors my clients have been requesting lately

Yay for box dyed hair that lifts this well in one session I don’t typically expect to get this light in one session on previously dyed hair (especially box dye) but I’m always ecstatic when it works out that way. The hair gods were with me on this one

I’ve been in Washington the past week for my first wedding anniversary and fall is in full force here I think my body might go into shock coming back to hot weather again lol

First session going lighter I always keep my expectations low and hopes high when lifting dark & previously colored hair (especially box dyed). Darker hair has much more red and orange underlying pigment to lift through in order to get to the blonde stages, which is why you usually see brassiness. Add in also breaking through previous color, that means even more potential for a brassy lift. I always hope for as little brassiness as possible like we did this first session, however sometimes the hair is stubborn and it goes more like . My #1 priority is always to keep my clients hair as healthy as possible, rather than pushing it to far in one session. But I’m always so happy when the hair cooperates and gets past those brassy stages in the first session
