This weekend marks the 31st anniversary of one of the strongest earthquakes in California's history -- the Loma Prieta earthquake. On October 17th, 1989, the destructive quake caused 63 deaths and nearly 3,800 injuries. Meals for All would to take a moment to remember those whose lives were lost or directly affected during the quake. We would also like to remind everyone how important it is to be prepared for the next earthquake, whether it's big or small. Although California... is well known for its frequent earthquakes, NINE other U.S. states have experienced earthquakes over 4.0 this year so far. No matter where we live, all of us should practice our earthquake emergency plans, and be sure to stock enough emergency food -- like Meals for All in our emergency supplies. Over 11 million Americans have registered for today's Great ShakeOut, an earthquake drill event that can help you prepare for the next "big one." Visit https://www.shakeout.org to find out more about participating in an earthquake drill near you, and visit https://www.mealsforall.com for more info about ensuring you have emergency food for your facility & family. #greatshakeout #earthquake #beprepared #mealsforall
