Epiphany Event Was a wonderful time !!

Epiphany 2020 at Mission Church was a wonderful time. We laughed and talked and fellowshipped. We encouraged each other to Pursuit God. Thank you Elizabeth Bergherm for organizing this event for us!!

ALL Angel Tree gift tags were picked up by the end of second service today!! Mission Church is a group of generous people! BE PRAYING for the children and families that receive the gifts in the name of their incarcerated parent. May they have open hearts to hear about God’s great gift in sending his Son as a baby for us.

Sheri Gastineau Langstraat and Amanda Thurman you got the retreat started off with lots of laughs! Thanks for being silly and having fun.

Days 2-3 of our Pinevalley Women’s Retreat this weekend! We enjoyed great fellowship and deeper friendship as we spent time together relaxing and getting away. Our retreat ended Sunday with a beautiful time of prayer in the morning. Thanks again Elizabeth Smith, Kim O’hara, Sheri Gastineau Langstraat, Amanda Thurman and Leanne Downing for giving 110% to make it a wonderful success for the ladies.

Day 1, Friday, of our amazing Women’s Retreat October 2019!! The ladies arrived to Pinevalley Christian Conference Center and Kim O’hara created a wonderful dinner for us of salad and grilled shrimp. We were encouraged by a message from speaker Cathy Davis. Worship was excellent led by the talented Melissa New and Heather Slater.

The fearless retreat planning team led by Elizabeth Smith!! Buckle up your seat belts and bring your Bibles. You can tell by the looks on these faces it’s going to be a GREAT YEAR for retreat!! Not included in the photo is Leanne Downing.

Wow! What a wonderful time at Mission Church! The message given by Attorney Lauren Jimenez pointed to the integral importance of community to our faith in Jesus Christ. We become a part of a body of Believers through perseverance in creating deep relationships with real connection. Amen and amen!! The food was a delight by Kim O’hara. The decorations were gorgeous by Kim Reynolds Foster, Kim Stroud, Elizabeth Bergherm. Music by Kelly Miller. The men helped by serving, cooking and cleaning. The teens helped and earned tips for youth group activities coming up. Congratulations to the leaders who put it all together Hydie Miller and Diane Cremo!!

Persistent focused prayer in agreement with other Believers really produces HOPE that strengthens and energizes even in difficulty circumstances!
