Good news for California drivers: Starting Monday, July 16, 2018, the Chula Vista DMV will be opening earlier at 7 a.m. for 4 days of the week to help ease wait times. Wednesdays will continue to open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. daily. Additionally, starting on Saturday, August 4th, the Chula Vista, Poway, and San Marcos DMV field offices will open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.... In all, 60 DMV locations will offer Saturday service each week starting August 4th.

I've always wondered what goes on in there when I pass by, and now I knowthey are having fun. Grace, elegance, style (loving the hat)you're the complete package Donald, and a good sport to boot. Out of nowhere, Bonita will remind you why you love being here. Whether you live here, work here, run/walk here, or just pass through, the beauty of this valley feeds the soul. Doc Blalock moseyed past our office this week on his mare named "Bob" (we got a kick out of that) and gently reminded us of our heritage. We've been told that at one point, Bonita, California had the highest number of horses per capita of anywhere in the country. Doc is a long-time equestrian and resident of Bonita and demonstrated his excellent riding skills, and also the special relationship between a horse and its keeper. Looked out the office window today and saw this kid skating in front of another business in our shopping center. A cranky old man smoking a pipe told him to scram, and so he moved on without incident. Boo! I called the skater over and told him to shred in front of our office if he wanted. He obliged and now we have another ambassador of McKenna Insurance Services. Growing up, we believed that skateboarding was not a crime . . . We still feel the same. As it says on the... sign, we are an independent insurance agency, embodying the same spirit as the Independent Trucks he skates.
