Well what a great Christmas present! One of my favorite Christmas songs I wrote with Larry Wayne Clark, just got recorded for the sixth timebut this time it’s in German. I’m not sure if everybody can hear it or not but I’m still very happy. The original song was called One Perfect Christmas and then an alt title was My Perfect Christmas and this one is called Der Weihnachtsabend mit dir. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. Thank you Martin Seimen and Wolfgang Srirtutz.

On a continuation of Christmas music for you guys, I hope you like itthis is Christmas Needs Love to be Christmas originally recorded by my father Don McClintock. That year Andy Williams also cut it and sang it on the Bob Hope Christmas special. It was pretty amazing!! this is one of my many versions. Lol Also on request, I am making up about 50 CDs of my dad‘s album this year if anybody wants to buy a new/old Christmas record. My co-writer on this is none other than the amazing Tim James Tim James Auringer.

It was about a year before this, Tim James Tim James Auringer and I started working on songs for a new young artist to be signed to MCA. We had no idea how the ...project would turn out or even if it would be released! But we were dedicated to get a song on the project produced by George Tobin. After 18 different attempts, we came up with a song called Kid on a Corner. It made the record! The first release of this album was a remake from my middle school days called I Think We’re Alone Now. It hit #1 song on November 7, 1987 for 2 weeks (Nov. 7-14, 1987). The album went on to sell over 4 million copies in the US alonefor which I will always be grateful. The artist, Tiffany! Tiff Pop She went on to record 15 of our songs Including a #6 on Billboard, All This Time. See more

This is what I have been talking to you all about how the streaming companies keep devaluing the process of songwriting and the songs. I don’t know if I’m more sad or more angry.

This is fun knowing we got to be a small part of the history when we got to write music and I sang for the Hanna-Barbera film version of The Jetson’s: The Movie in the 1990. The Jetsons Debuts September 23, 1962 After the huge success of the animated Stone Age sitcom The Flintstones, animators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera decided to try a similar formula but in a radically different setting high above the clouds in a town called Orbit City. The year? 2062. On S...eptember 23, 1962, the world met George Jetson, along with Judy, Elroy, Rosey, and Jane his wife. In time, The Jetsons became one of the most compelling pieces of Space Age futurism, and, 60 years later, it still has audiences hungry for flying cars. Originally running for a single 24-episode season, The Jetsons is now an animated artifact preserving how 1960s America viewed the future. All the buildings are inspired by Googie, an architectural style that flourished in 1950s Los Angeles. Work is automated, travel is nearly instantaneous, and humanity is spacefaring (an understandable vision for a moon-bound America). The Jetsons was also a glimpse of the near future, being the first color TV program broadcast on ABC. After its first season, the show found a second life in syndication, and received two more seasons and a movie decades later. But it was the series' original run that made audiences young and old dream of the future flying cars and all. https://youtu.be/fFyXyrlugqg

Big congratulations to our writer Pamela Oland and her win in The Netherlands for Best Musical of All Time co-written by Tom Harriman. They also had two songs nominated for "Best Song of all Time", for Soldier of Orange in the Dutch Musical Awards, which were televised in the Netherlands! There is a strong plan for the English version of this musical coming to the UK soon! https://www.soldieroforange.com/

Proof that you can be an unknown to the general public but change the world. celebrating the life of Al Schmidt and his giving to the music. He was one of the good ones, one of the nice ones, and certainly one of the most talented ones. Rest In Peace https://entertalkmedia.com/al-schmitt-video/

This is a very nice article. Tim James and I were very involved with many aspects of Tiffany’s first and second album as well as Jetsons: The Movie record. I remember all of this so well. We were lucky to get a song in that first album called Kid on a Corner. (We worked out butts off for it!). And I was lucky enough to become friends with Lois Blaisch. In this article it mentions our song All This Time as her last billboard top 10. (#6) Alas another lost love song from my personal life situation. Thank you Lord for break ups because seemingly we get some of the better/best songs from there!! Enjoy! https://www.stereogum.com//the-n/columns/the-number-ones/

A great song is a great song is a great song! Jimmy Webb, one of my all time favorite songwriters. So glad I’ve met him and shared a meal and merriment. I owe it to Fred Mollin, my mentor and friend. Tim James Auringer and I have seen Jimmy live several times at some cool places. Lucky us!!

Lou Ottens died without fanfare. Most of you don’t know the name nor should you. But if you’re from my time, your life was changed by this. I was reminded of this by a friend, Brian Whitney, today that he died last Saturday. Lou invented the cassette tape. Yes,,something we used every day without any question of where it came from. Enjoy this article reminisce reminisce. https://www.npr.org//lou-ottens-inventor-of-the-cassette-t
