Here is a brief update to what has been going on since October. Brendan was diagnosed with esophageal cancer after a biopsy in August. In the middle of October he started a twice a day, five day a week for six weeks of radiation. He also had three, two day sessions of chemo during the radiation. When he finished he was not able to eat or drink and in December he was taking intravenous fluids, five days a week for about 4-5 weeks. He also had no voice or energy. On Christmas e...ve he had his first meal, half a can of soup. His voice is slowly coming back but it didn't start until late January. We are currently open, now, two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 10-2p, baring medical appointments. Thank you for all the messages on his facebook page. Great Fundraiser, Who needs a wreath or garland or...check the flier.

Since the mid 70's we have been on a normal business schedule. Sure we went from 6 days to 5 1/2 to 5 days and our hours have changed slightly but outside of vacation we have been here for you our customers and friends. Even through Covid, we have been open. However, from now until the end of the year, our schedule will be a day to day adventure. I am going through Chemo and radiation for laryngeal cancer and between the Chemo and radiation, I'm not sure what to expect. If you need some work done, please call and leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I do understand if you can't wait. I will be in the office as often as possible but with radiation twice a day, six hours apart, I won't be there very long during that time. Thank you for your understanding.

One of our members has just found out that he has Cancer and needs radiation treatments. This means that his bead has to go so the mask will fit properly. He has decided to have some fun with it and this is what he is offering. See the flier below. Join the fun.
