Wear a broad spectrum SPF 30 or above (always) and a wide brim hat if you’ll be in the sun . My favorite SPFS are mineral based with zinc oxide. Hearing feedback like this from clients reminds me why I do what I do. Yes, I post funny skincare memes but, my passion and job is helping people understand and love THEIR skin. I’ve been super booked in the past few months which has me feeling extremely grateful but, also a little stressed as I want to accommodate everyone! Raise your hand if you’ve been victimized by a dehydrated pore Ever gotten a facial and then wondered why they weren’t able to get everything? Well, not everything is extractable and your skin could be dehydrated holding on to those clogged pores for dear life. For best results, drink plenty of water and use products that add hydration - Toning mists, serums without acids, essences, moisturizer, facial oil and SPF (that sun snatched the water in your skin to!)

This is a client who started a series of Sensi peels from @pcaskin right before covid hit. We got two treatments in before lockdown hit and then had to wait another 8 months before starting up again....and then stopping again. She did a total of 6 peels and I’m so happy with her results! She was diligent about her home care, SPF and came in every 3 weeks (when possible). She has melasma but, you can see those dark spots on her forehead are barely there now. I hope to continue to work on her pigmentation and melasma for even better results. Consistency is key!

Sometimes little things can make a huge difference! Do you already do this? I always do my skincare first and then hair serums and body lotions to avoid that cross residue!

If it’s working, keep using it! Switching products constantly will only slow results and can cause irritation and breakouts. Stick with what’s working and if you are thinking of adding or changing something, consult with your esthetician!
