No gimmicks and legal trickery. Just continuing to build on the hard work of our engineers and staff. I promise you I will continue to push our progress at the District and raise the percentage of recycled grey water high enough to end the contract with the desalination plant.

My opponent is trying some legal gimmicks about personhood for waterways instead of common sense. You protect waterways by electing advocates who don’t buy the bullshit from politicians of either party. Waterways are not people. Corporations are not people. The developers who use our water should be paying more instead of the consumers. No More Legal Trickery and frivolous lawsuits! It’s that simple.

Which Democrats we elect matters. With four conservatives on the Water Board and the moderates declining to run again, we need a fierce community advocate who is always on the front-line on racial and social justice issues. Whenever my community puts out a call, I will be there as an accomplice. #blacklivesmatter

Even if I couldn’t stay long because of the pollution already in the air from the Navy this afternoon, I had to join Katie to protest even more smog on an already insanely busy corner. Developers like Sunroad have their eyes on San Marcos Creek as well, which is why we can’t keep electing developer-funded candidates to Water Board or City Council.
