Many of the same chemicals used in fracking are used by the desalination plant that Vallecitos still contracts with. I’m the only candidate who is committed to shutting it down, as I have been for decades.

Hi, as you may know, I’m running for Vallecitos Water Board and my fundraising link is up! Please contribute $45 for the 45 days before the election (or what you can). Unfortunately, mailers and phone lists are still expensive, and I’m not taking corporate donations. Thanks! https://secure.actblue.com/donate/mcwater

Post-call time #vegan snack. Have you donated yet to Matthew "Matt" Corrales for Vallecitos Water District? This little grassroots campaign can’t run for free. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/mcwater

Part of my slowly healing right sleeve. Don’t you dare call me antisemitic when my Dziadek Stanley Nowak fought alongside his Jewish Comrades in the Polish Resi...stance in World War 2, and got that same number on his arm at Auschwitz. He was also a proud Socialist, a Union civil engineer from Gdask. I seek public office to honor him. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/mcwater

Proud to announce the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America San Diego Chapter! Electing Socialists to all levels of government matters.

No gimmicks and legal trickery. Just continuing to build on the hard work of our engineers and staff. I promise you I will continue to push our progress at the District and raise the percentage of recycled grey water high enough to end the contract with the desalination plant.

My opponent is trying some legal gimmicks about personhood for waterways instead of common sense. You protect waterways by electing advocates who don’t buy the bullshit from politicians of either party. Waterways are not people. Corporations are not people. The developers who use our water should be paying more instead of the consumers. No More Legal Trickery and frivolous lawsuits! It’s that simple.

Which Democrats we elect matters. With four conservatives on the Water Board and the moderates declining to run again, we need a fierce community advocate who is always on the front-line on racial and social justice issues. Whenever my community puts out a call, I will be there as an accomplice. #blacklivesmatter

These things are awesome and more efficient than the older models.

Even if I couldn’t stay long because of the pollution already in the air from the Navy this afternoon, I had to join Katie to protest even more smog on an already insanely busy corner. Developers like Sunroad have their eyes on San Marcos Creek as well, which is why we can’t keep electing developer-funded candidates to Water Board or City Council.
