Cut by me (home color job). This is a fun one!! Much like my previous post it's been quite some time since this peach of a gal had the opportunity to have a professional touch her locks. Today was just a good healthy cut and a purple conditioning treatment to try to cut the brass (there is a take home option for all our blondes out there, ask us about it!) Beyond excited for her next visit to start to bring her back to her "natural". Goal- Soft sun kissed balayage with a... shadow root. Stay tuned!!

This. Right here. I do everything for this little girl (and her brother). Everything I've done with @masamorsalon has been from literally the ground up. I have no expectations and the only goal I have my eye on is to be a better person (inside and out) tomorrow, than I was today. I fail some days. I kill it other days. That's life. A life I'm grateful for and a life I don't for one second, take for granted. Be still. Be present. Be kind. Be humble and be better. I miss my clients, I miss my friends and I miss my family. Remember anxieties are high right now and things are tense. This takes a toll on us from the inside out and sometimes we just have to shut off and take a little time to ourselves, and that's ok. I hope everyone gets a good nights sleep and has a moment in the morning to reflect on this year and find something you're grateful for. It hasn't been easy, but it hasn't been ordinary either. She said it herself "a healthy trim can make your hair look longer". Um, is this the same head?? Because it looks WAY longer IMO Yes. 3hrs later we got this magical "vanilla latte" #needcoffee Don't you love?! I do!

It really is true!! I have several clients who I only balayage ONCE a year and they get compliments YEAR round. Often I hear "just last week someone asked if I'd just had my hair done!" And they're sitting at month 9+ of the grow out process. A couple of things to know about lightening darker (and some lighter) tones of hair. ... You're still going to want to see me every 6-10 weeks for a toner (trust me). This is a soft look and often with the least amount of damage in all the lightening process options. It's intended for the highlights to not go "right to the root" hence the amazingly soft grow out. If you're going to invest in your color you NEED to invest in the products to keep it looking fly! This includes a purple shampoo and/or conditioner for weekly use. You can still do this if you have grays you want covered, those would be a typical 4-6 week appointment and you'll still have to soft grown out effect. The first pic was yesterday when we toned her hair. The second pic was 1 week after she saw me and was using medicated/market shampoo (yes target too y'all, that's market shampoo) and the color/toner had all but been stripped. The third was October 9th, her first visit first lightening with toner. Take care of that hair y'all!

Literally the best brush on the market. Most amazing brushes will run you o close to (of over) $100. You get so much more than you pay for in this little nugget of a brush! I've had mine nearly 10 years and it gets used daily. Who else has this brush and loves?

Brightened up a few bits and did an all over tone. Sometimes you don't need to spend 4 hours and a million bucks to look like it. It's been a slow and steady two years. I've held strong to my values and my mission for @masamorsalon. At times I thought we were growing too slowly and others too fast. I've always known what I wanted to come of this unique little space and have been working diligently to achieve this. I'm not sure I'll ever feel "done" but I can fully say this is the happiest and most content I've been with my home away home. My hope for @masamorsalon and @shopmasamor is that not only our ...team, but also our clients feel just as at home as we do. There is so much love between these walls! Love that we've created and love that our prior owners poured into it. (The walls actually have words of affirmation, money, and significant stones inside them!)
