Thurgood Marshall Middle School

Representatives from our student council were training today (and will be tomorrow) to be docents for the Anne Frank Exhibition. It was a great experience that they are looking forward to sharing with the rest of the school!

The ASB Fundraiser is still plugging away. Just to clear up any misconceptions - this is different than the MMO Fundraiser. The MMO raises money that is typically used to support what goes on in classrooms. The ASB is working to improve the overall atmosphere of Marshall and to put on events for the students that are memorable and fun.... We have already begun decorating the hallways for the Halloween season and will be decorating for each of the major holiday seasons. We also have a fantastic spirit week planned for Halloween with spirit days and lunchtime activities for each day of that week. We're also going to be having a school dance in January, the Club Carnival in May and looking to host a first ever community movie night. Thank you to those who have already supported the drive. The Theatre Classes have begun their fundraiser to support this year's productions!

Mr. Schulze took every choir student to the annual Forum Festival and every choir took home a Gold Rating and award for Outstanding Musicianship. Marshall Middle School is proud of all the work that the choirs and their director, Mr. Schulze, have done!
