Which ITINs are subject to expire at the end of 2020? -ITINs that have not been used on a tax return for tax years 2017, 2018 or 2019 will expire December 31, 2020. -Additionally, ITINs with middle digits 88 (For example: 9NN-88-NNNN) will expire December 31, 2020. Those with middle digits 90, 91, 92, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98 or 99, that were assigned before 2013 and have not already been renewed, will also expire at the end of this year.

The IRS website says,"there is no provision in the law requiring a repayment of a payment." ... "The Payment is not includible in your gross income... It will not reduce your refund or increase the amount you owe when you file your 2020 Federal income tax return."

The start of tax season! The Internal Revenue Service announced this week that the official opening day of the 2020 tax season for individuals will be Jan. 27,... which is when the IRS starts to accept and process 2019 federal tax returns. You have until April 15 to file your return and pay your tax bill. Call to make your appointments you can file before the 27th, beat the rush.
