Phone: 661-867-1300 Course length: 2 days Course Cost: $225.00 Course Requirements: A basic knowledge of marksmanship, handgun, holster, at least one spare magazine and carrier, 250+ of ammo, eye and ear protection. Course Description: This is an entry level course into the Modern Handgun Technique of defensive handgun skills. Used by military, law enforcement, and civilians around the world, this is the foremost skill set of the handgun that everything else is compared to. The student will begin the first day with a discussion about the use of deadly force and how it may apply to their tactical, criminal, and civil liabilities. The student will then begin work on the range for hands on training of the Modern Handgun Technique. This will include grip and stance, proper presentations from the holster, target I.D., failure to stop, shooting at multiple distances, multiple target engagement, proper weapon handling, malfunction clearances, conceal carry options and other information vital to the subject of defensive handgun.
