What is it about a newborn baby that makes you feel like it's been a lifetime since you've held one no matter how long it's actually been? Those newborn moments go by as quickly as these feet are little. The time we have with the tiniest people at this stage is so fleeting, I feel so lucky when I get to photograph it. ... Authenticity in photography is always my goal. I think that babies deserve the same approach that I aim for with anyone else. That means I want them to be comfortable and natural just like I want for adults. Natural poses and moments of connection, with the baby's parents and sometimes siblings, is the way I want each family to remember this time in their lives. At a time when self-awareness is particularly high, having a positive sense of self is so valuable. Can you imagine seeing artwork of yourself on the wall of your home everyday? Toddlers are gonna toddle ... or run as fast as they can! Either way, I’m prepared! Letting children be themselves whether they’re very energetic or need a few minutes to warm up allows me to photograph their most genuine smiles and expressions.

Hello Everyone, Just a quick note to thank everyone so much for their concern, but the studio was not affected by the horrific fires overnight. Our thoughts go out to everyone who lost years of hard work and love, not to mention income.
