Mariners Point is reopening on Monday, May 4th, 2020! Please be very mindful of social distancing (6 feet +) and please bring a mask, gloves and sanitizing wipes for your own safety. Mariners Point will be frequently cleaning and disinfecting as well. There will be guidance on distancing and one way foot traffic on the driving range. In an attempt to avoid money changing to the extent possible, try to bring exact change for the ball machines ($10, $14 or $17) or purchase/replenish a range card with a credit/debit card in the pro shop with our contactless point of sale system. Please cooperate and play at your own risk. WELCOME BACK!

Some important new rules for golf starting 01/01/192019 Drop a ball from knee height into the relief area Three minutes will be the maximum allotted time to search for a ball (formerly five minutes) You will be allowed to repair spike marks and other damage on the putting green caused by a person, animal or maintenance practice. If you make a stroke from on the green and your ball hits the flagstick in the hole, there will be NO penalty.... You will be allowed to ground your club and move loose impediments in a penalty area (an expanded concept of water hazards that does not include bunkers). For more information golf’s new rules, please visit usga.org

Also, in the abundance of caution we are sharing this notification: A dead bat was found on the premises of Mariner’s Point Golf Course, located at the 7th tee on Sunday 1/28/18. The bat tested positive for rabies. ... Rabies is caused by a virus that is present in the saliva of rabid animals. Humans and other animals can get rabies if they are bitten by a rabid animal or (more rarely) when saliva or brain tissue from a rabid animal gets into a break in their skin or mucous membranes such as the eyes, nose, or mouth. Rabies is not spread by petting a rabid animal, or through contact with blood, urine, or feces of a rabid animal. If you, or someone you know, had contact with the bat on Sunday 1/28/18 or a few days before, please contact your medical provider for assessment as soon as possible. People who were not in contact with the bat are not at risk. Women golfers! Join a friendly group at Mariners Point in Foster City! We are a group of women golfers playing on Wednesday mornings at Mariners Point in Foster City looking to add more beginning/intermediate golfers. The group meets at 7:30 AM on Wednesday mornings for a shotgun start at about 8:00 AM. We play nine holes and finish by 9:30 AM or so. The course is walkable and enjoyable for all skill levels. We currently have 40 members from around the Peninsula with varying skill levels ranging in age from 50's to 80's, but all adult women are welcome. We have fun and enjoy a little friendly competition with no pressure. New players should be able to keep up with the group and play the par 27 nine hole course in 55 strokes or less. Please join us. Message me for more info!
