https://youtu.be/LnJwH_PZXnM As we continue to be confined together with those we love, or are currently simply tolerating it becomes increasingly likely that we will take things personally. Their remarks, faces options etc. They can all get to us during these stressful times. This presenter does a beautiful job giving us a 3 step tool to use at any time. Now and after we are released.... To summarize his points (although I recommend to watch this short 18 min video) 1. Its not about me! -turn "I" into "We" -look at the others intentions, what are they needing? -see how they just want to be right (a universal desire) 2. It is about me -you may need to give yourself some empathy when a raw nerve has been hit. -allow yourself to be vulnerable. With the other if they are safe or with someone who is, or simply with yourself 3. Keep your values -Dont allow the others opinions to determine who you are -Dont surrender your core -No one gets to decide who you are no matter their opinions of you

A very interesting and helpful article! Transitioning from work to home, or home to work can be difficult sometimes, so the idea of creating time to decompress is important. From a mental health perspective, practicing meditation, exercising, or just sitting in quiet is crucial for maintaining good mental health! https://www.inc.com//this-simple-addition-to-your-daily-ro

A good reminder that anger takes up a lot of space! Forgiveness can be a healing act, weather it is simply in our hearts or we actively practice it towards someone. Creating more space in your life and heart for happiness and peace can lead to a wonderful existence and open up our relationships and opportunities.

We all need this reminder: we have the power to choose to not be around toxic people or in toxic situations. We all deserve better. Choosing to not be around toxic people often has side effects like: peace of mind, contentment, happiness, freedom, a lightness in one's heart, better sleep, better relationships...etc. Need we say more?
