Our local kids could have tremendous opportunities for hockey scholarships if we only had a rink that was fully functioning in its 2.6 months of opening and the season could be extended. Thank goodness to our friendly communities that welcome our kids and keep this opportunity alive.

A superb weekend full of kids playing hockey at all ages and both genders! Go girls and boys. Unfortunately it came to a sudden end on Sunday, short two games from the finish due to sun penetrating the ice. Coaches were concerned for the safety of their kids. Huge thanks to Tahoe and Ontario bringing kids from varying age groups to Mammoth to lodge, dine and support our town.

Had to drive six hours to play hockey in 70 degree weather. But it's not yet open here at 30 degree weather? Frustrating.
