We are OPEN again!!! I know it’s been a while, and I know that everyone understands the craziness of the prior year, so thank you for your patience! TWO open studio dates scheduled for June, and I’ll be adding some 4th of July classes soon ... Friday, 6/4 6:00pm-9:00pm Saturday, 6/19 4:00-9:00pm How does it work? Studio fee is $10. You can bring your own project or use my supplies to create something fun (don’t worry - we have plenty of ideas for you ) Not feeling creative? Purchase a blank piece, or project kit to get your creative juices flowing! How’s that for a relaxing, fun night out? And waaaay cheaper than a spa day Can’t wait to see you there!

Currently: Working on some Valentine’s Day take-and-make kits 2020 was a difficult year for me, creatively. Between trying out coaching, closing the studio to the public (temporarily), and working harder than I’ve ever worked at my day job, crafting just didn’t come easily for me. I feel like I could have done a better job doing online workshops, or kits but in all honesty, I was exhausted for the better part (was there a better part? ) of last year.... I want to start this year off on a different foot, and I’m starting with craft kits that will be available to purchase by this coming Friday the 15th!! xoxo, Lana

Wow, it’s been a long ... how many months?? But we are finally ready to reopen the studio again With all the necessary precautions of course . I won’t have any open studio dates for the month of June, but if you’d like to make an appointment, I’ll be happy to accommodate you . The good thing about more time, is more organization gets done (sometimes...) and I’ve found my self shopping my own stash of craft supplies at home I’m going to try some coloring to get my mind in creating gear again! . I’ve found it pretty difficult to tap into my creative side with the studio closed and limited resources lately. A lot of my creativity is going towards keeping my thoughts hopeful and positive and if you’re in that boat too, I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure it’s completely normal!

Look for rainbows during the storm . And friends, it’s been a storm! But because there is LOTS of room to spread out at the studio, and lowering levels of stress actually boosts immunity, as of now, open studio and workshops will continue as usual. There’s no news channels here, just plenty of positivity to get us through. And maybe some toilet paper jokes . Embroidery and macrame classes are up on the website and there is still time to schedule!

Celebrating International Women’s Day by doing my profit and loss statement for my taxes (although I wish I were macrame-ing ) and as daunting as that is for me, it also means I have a business. A little sprout of a business, but a business. As a female. And while I have an army of supporters by my side (male and female), I’m still pioneering this on my own. And I’m so incredibly grateful for this experience
