Life Coaching for Men What is it? The basic recipe is: 1) A dude; 2) A dream; 3) A whole lotta bullshit in between. The job of the coach is to get the dude to the dream, which means guiding him through all stuff he’s afraid of. The best way to do this is break big goals into smaller goals; map them out on the calendar; and get them handled sequentially. Now OF COURSE there is a lot of hand-holding and encouragement in the beginning, because validation is highl...y motivating. But if a guy just keeps showing up session after session, asking redundant questions, offering excuses for underperforming, complaining, blaming, and arguing for his limitations...... THAT’S when he gets THE TALK. Bottomline? Your actions define you. At a certain point you need to put away your victim script, MAN-UP, and do your job.
