WE NEED YOUR HELP We here at the Maker Society are proud to say that we are doing our part along with much of the #3Dprinting community by working to help provide additional PPE for medical workers and anyone else who may need them. Using a model designed by the amazing team at @prusa and the machines we have in our lab we are able to produce roughly 40 of these faceshields per day and that number could easily double if needed. However WE NEED YOUR HELP to spread the word so... we can get these in the hands of those who need them the most, medical workers. We also need help to find their production. Each mask currently costs about $5 to produce but that number will shrink as production increases. How can you help? 1: Share this post! As part of #csulbeweek2019 Long Beach Maker Society members participated in a week-long scavenger hunt organized by the College of Engineering Student Council. 30 different tasks were assigned, each with different point values. This is one of the various competition events held throughout the week. The organization with the most points at the end of the week will receive the coveted Golden Wrench.
