If I could tell you one thing, here's what I'd say: take this COVID 19 virus very, very, very, seriously. Stay home, and stay away from people. Just do it. Our politicians took far too long to take this threat seriously. Don't make the same mistake. Assume you have it. Assume everyone you see has it. These assumptions will save millions of lives, including your own. No joke.

Santa Clarita Sheriff's Department tweeted this: "Too many kids making inappropriate [threatening] comments to other students & then find themselves at center of criminal investigation. They then say ‘just joking’ not realizing still serious consequences. Many say parents haven’t warned them. Can you help spread word?"

Parents, the Saddleridge fire still seems to be mostly south of the SCV at this time (6am Friday). However, I'm no expert, so keep an eye out. Also, all traffic, including Metrolink, appears to be closed over the Newhall Pass. A lot of people won't be able to get to work south of the SCV today. Be safe, and mad respect for our firefighters and first responders. UPDATE: All SCV school districts are closed today, Friday.
