This guy! The last few months have been chaotic and so absolutely beautiful! Little Aiden is growing and learning and filling all of our hearts with joy and love To all (first time) mamas out there that had babies during the pandemic - you are doing great, and you are not alone! It is such a different experience compared to my first pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery. Community has been a huge part of my ‘new mom’ journey back than and I am still in touch with many ...friends I made back than. Some of my new mama clients share how they feel disconnected and alone in their recovery and would love to meet other moms to connect. I had to run a ‘Mama Meet up’ virtually. Would you be interested in that? Feel free to comment below or send me a pm. I will revamp my schedule and start online classes or at least meet ups again soon. Love to offer what serves you the most! Have a great weekend. #motherhood #love #family #littebiy #newborn #postpartumrecovery #mama #parenthood #motheroftwo #baby #cute #healthy #healthylifestyle

Mama - the job with many roles and responsibilities. #HeyMama, you rock! When I was younger I had a romantic idea of motherhood. I looked at the moms with strollers and coffee, chatting with their mama friends on a Tuesday morning in the park. Now that I am a mom, I too walk my with stroller, coffee and friends and I am sure it looks relaxing. But in my head I am:... trying to decide what to cook for lunch calculating in my head when to get my toddler in the car to make sure he falls asleep since he has been skipping his naps otherwise planning my potential nap time break trying to remember when I last fed the baby worry whether or not I hit the button to close the garage door realizing my similar looking shoes are two different sizes after listening to my friend, starting to plan potty training for our toddler worrying about said toddler to push another child unexpectedly wondering if my toddler has enough vegetables in his diet wishing I had put sunscreen on everybody is the baby getting too hot with the cover on? Wait, is he too cold? #mama #motherhood #fitmama #strongmama #women #family #parenting #mom #momsofinstagram

Resting up for a moment after another incredible short night. There are so many things that I ‘need’ to take care off - yet my newborn and toddler make their own plans and often derail mine. And I am working on being okay with that. I am the kind of person that doesn’t adjust their expectations to match new life situations... in my mind I am still aiming to accomplish my overwhelming list of to do’s’ I am still trying to workout daily and continue to add more things to my li...sts and guess what - not much gets done, but a feeling of anxiety creeps up at times... and it’s 100% homemade. I am happy in the moments that I let my lists and to dos be and stare at my kids faces, or chat with them and play, watch them learn and discover. a few of my go to tips to snap out of the ‘high expectation’ mindset and find balance between self care, babies and housework or tasks that need to get done: prioritize the things that really need to happen aim for small breaks and short moments to relax or get things done. Know what you will do with your next small moment ahead of time. ask for help! That’s right, it might not be easy, but it will give you some more well deserved rest or time to get organized. It is perfectly fine to ask for help. And it is fine to need a moment to yourself. You are still an amazing mom. only add additional ‘to do’s’ once you feel like you have capacity for it. Don’t over extent yourself. enjoy the still and quiet moments to recharge your energy. nourish and hydrate - you will feel better when you are well fed and hydrated. Think of it as the foundation of a energetic and balanced day. #tinygoals #dailylife #newmama #newborn #mamalife #mom #momsofinstagram
