Today marks the end of and era. It’s with great sadness that after 62 years the last remaining Magic Muffler is closing its doors and will be gone forever. Magic Muffler was started in 1956 by Howard Hudson. This last store in Simi Valley was sold to Mark Priebe in 2003 when Howard decided to retire. Mark had previously worked for Howard since August of 1972. At one time Magic Muffler had 12 stores throughout the San Fernando valley and Ventura county. Mark had at one time or another worked in all 11 operational stores with the exception of Camarillo which was fully built and stocked but never opened. So after 46 years Mark enjoy your retirement. All that will be left of Magic is some company note pads, pencils, pens, antenna balls and 1 old van
