Practical ways to help your neighbors experiencing homelessness: Put together a #hygienekit and keep them handy in the event you come across someone in need of basic necessities. Be creative! Add small restaurant gift cards, coupons, sunscreen, chapstick, ect. The issues surrounding #homelessness are complex, but simple kindnesses make an impact! ... Making a difference! During the start of the Pandemic, we were forced to close our volunteer programs in an effort to ensure the safety of everyone. We are incredibly blessed to have had a small number of volunteers eagerly return as soon as we were able to do so safely.
