Take aim with accuracy into the green: Pre-shot routine is vital to eliminating doubt.. develop a concrete plan and see it happening in your mind. Decide fade/draw or high/low Before stepping into the shot, Always pick out a target thats in line with where you want to start the shot to out. -I recommend high on the horizon such as a tree branch or building.... Your shoulders, not your feet, should be in line with your target that you picked on the horizon. Lastly, take a deep breathe and swing right at the target executing the shot! I started working with Mike Maggs of the Southern California Golf Academy since early 2018. I can to Mike when searching for a new instruction because I wanted someone who knew how to properly use and incorporate Track Man in the golf instruction process. I had a health issue that I was recovering from which had an impact on my balance. Mike evaluated my swing and made adjustments and provided check points that improved my swing path, my timing, and my balance. we have also ...worked on both putting and short game. The results have been exceptional. In 2018 I won two senior club championships I am consistently scoring in the low to mid 70"s and today I was 5 under par and almost shot my age. Here’s how to keep it simple off the tee: Pick a small target up above the fairway and off in the horizon that you want the ball to start at! At golf school, I explained to my students that you can’t allow too many thoughts while you’re over the ball! Just See target.. hit target! Easier said than done, but this will make your driving much more accurate and relieve the pressure on the teebox and allow you to just relax and hit more powerful drives!

I used to avoid playing golf when asked, simply because my game was so bad! I decided to fix it once and for all by joining The Southern California Golf Academy. Fairway Talk You have to realize that golf is a game that’s played for fun and You may even hit a couple bad shots or even get some bad breaks, but don’t ever give up on the hole! Keep grinding and the chips will fall your way eventually! I was walking up 13 at Torrey South after I just made an unlikely par on hole 12, which is the hardest hole on the course. I went from bunker to bunker and nearly holed my 3rd shot for birdie and tapped in for par. I only got that resul...t because I never gave up on the hole! Golf is a grind sometimes and that’s what makes it so fun!
