If your grandmother, or great-grandmother didn't recognize it as food (or someone's great-grandmother didn't recognize it) then you shouldn't be eating it.. By the time kids are 10 years old, they have had as much sugar as an elderly person did in their whole life 100 years ago, this is what we are up against in terms of eating a nutritious diet.
