12 years ago today I sat in this office. It was my first day with Allstate. I sat on the carpet waiting for my desks to be delivered ... I had internet, phone lines and a yellow page book. If ever I’ve double guessed my self it was that day. I needed to figure out how I was going to make my phones ring. I cold called, I asked family and friends if I could quote them.... I even hit the streets looking for business. Before I agreed to open my office I was told I didn’t know ...what I was doing and that I would fail. Well that was enough motivation to kick start my career. Allstate believed In me and most importantly I believed in me ..... that was enough for me. I love what I do and I love what I’ve built with a lot of hard work and a lot of help along the way. I love every single one of my customers...even those who have yelled at me from time to time. Tonight we are here after hours moving my office from the second floor small office space I’ve been in for 12 yrs to the downstairs new office space with double the sq footage. I’m excited and a bit scared all over again. None the less Allstate continues to believe in me, I continue to believe in me and I believe I have the best staff backing me up. Two offices later I couldn’t have done it without them. I am not their boss....I am their leader. I love my team.
