Happy birthday to our RVT Crystal!

Our shelter staff in Butte county need everyone support! They are unsung hero’s when we have a sudden need for hundreds of animals to be sheltered!!!

We currently are treating 11 cats with bandages it takes on average 30 minutes per patient to remove, clean, dry and re-bandage. So, about 5 hours of care every other day!! Thanks to all that have made donations to the Xander fighters fund. We are using it and have been able to extend to some outpatients. That being said we have a lot of cats here! And a busy staff, lucky for us we have the best staff ever!!

Our clinic cat getting to know some bear fire survivors....she is such a curious but general cat!

We are starting to see some patients from the Bear fire. If anyone has money to donate towards their treatment the few animals here have owners but they have lost their homes. This pup here is getting an emergency c-section/spay as she has two puppies that have been stuck for over 24 hours..... We are doing the surgery but as a small hospital we don’t have the resources to do everything for free. Any donations would go straight to caring for these animals under the Xander fund which was created to help animals by a client here.

Still missing.. brother and sister black labs from Berry Creek fire. This Zoey when camp fire broke out and waiting for brother to be found. We found him then and hoping to find both this time
