This #ThrowBack Thursday, we're missing ramping up for our annual fundraiser, NightCap! So we'd like to say a special thanks to the Port of Long Beach for supporting us for the last 6 years, thank you!

We are excited to be in the first week of accepting applications for our new @lamp Urban Garden Internship Program! 2020 was a difficult year for everyone, and we were sad to not offer our traditional arts LAMP internship, but if it taught us anything, its how to reinvent and still offer services in a new and safer way! Our Lamp sessions starts March 2nd, and we can't wait to work with the youth again!

Listen up Long Beach! We are excited to announce our upcoming LAMP Program! This spring, we will be focusing on older youth ages 18-24 for a new Urban Gardening Internship! Applications open on Monday!

Lets talk caps The Federal #Poverty Guidelines were created to measure poverty levels in the US in the 1960's. Today, many agencies use these values to determine eligibility for programs. As you can see, these incomes are extremely low, but are the same across the 48 contiguous states. Can you say #WhatTheCAP ! As a #CommunityAction Agency located in a high cost-of-living area, this makes our work that much more important!
