Wonder where many of the library books went? Our own Luke Williams '21 has been sorting through and gathering books, including notebooks and binder for an outreach program with OLMC for The Cleveland School. Students were exceedingly grateful to receive. Katelyn Hoidal ‘21, Laylanie Valenzuela '22 and Grant Sodomka '23 also assisted with the project as well. Some of the books were also used for Christmas gifts for children. Luke assigned other books to The Piru Community...; a self help housing unit for agricultural workers, which were delivered for Christmas. Throughout Luke's sorting he found books on the topic of leadership which went to OLMC Boy Scout Troop 33 and the last of the books that went to Catholic Charities. Well Done and thank you to Luke and his Cardinal supporters! During this time, a book can be a person's best friend of comfort and a companion.

Thomas Coleman is the Founder and President of the Bishop Diego Chapter of Teens on the Scene (TOTS), a youth led organization that connects high school student...s with opportunities to support local nonprofits. Both Jack Cantin and his sister Lauren inspired Thomas to start Bishop Diego TOTS with the idea of giving back to the local community in the same selfless way Jack did. Thomas has partnered with various organizations such as PATH, Unity Shoppe, Food from the Heart, and the City of Santa Barbara to conduct trash cleanups, graffiti abatement, and clothing and food drives.
