Wendy Manasse Weiss was an excellent speaker on her experiences as a designer of Swimsuits with Jansen, Catalina and then her own line - Quenchwear - at yesterday's meeting. However, sharing her experiences about her daughter's brain tumor just amplified why we all work so hard to support the American Cancer Society.

We are packing COOKIES tomorrow for the Jonathan Jacques Cancer Center! Please bring your cookies and tins! Let's work together to bring sweetness to those with cancer in the hospital.

Long Beach Cancer League's annual cookie drive is December 13-14. All donated cookies are packed in tins and given to the families of children with cancer at Millers Children Hospital. Please ask a league member how you can donate cookies!
