Super cool for Cub Scouts! This Adventure is for Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts as they learn the benefits of modular designing and building within the fun and exciting world of Snap Ships. Snap Ships has provided great video resources that can be used for virtual or in person den meetings. The Den Leader can present these recognitions instantly either in person or virtually. There are no adventure loops or pins to purchase for this adventure. This preview adventure the concept of digital recognition is being tested. Instead of Adventure Loops and Pins as instant recognition there is a congratulatory video, a license to build, along with a 25% off code for any Snap Ship purchase on Amazon. When your den has completed this Adventure, record completion in Scoutbook.

How many pins, patches, and Scout items can you spot in this photo? If you said tens of thousands, you're probably right. Today we double count all the items in our Scout Shop as we do at the end of every year. (Truth be told, Sandy - the real hero here - started counting every item in the shop weeks ago.) We want to thank everyone who supported us during difficult times this year. We look forward to re-opening our store on Monday, January 4, 2021. Curbside pickup has been effective, quick, safe, and easy!

Next Saturday, November 14, you'll collect food that people have left on their porch and deliver to one of two locations in the council - all contactless. More info here:www.longbeachbsa.org/sff We have a few boxes of bags left at the Scout office. We can also help printing your flyer if you have one to attach to bags. ... Reason to celebrate! Today in history: six years ago, the bridge across Highway 38 was installed. This project was the culmination of many, many people determined to provide safe access to both sides of Camp Tahquitz spanning a busy state highway. Have you walked across the bridge? Let us know in the comments! Check out more photos from the installation day on October 15, 2014 in this album: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk5onDkF
