Come on out for our Game and Chili Night this coming Sunday!! We will have fun for all ages so bring the whole family and invite your neighbors and friends! We'll have lots of GAMES--board games, card games and preschool games! ... We'll have BOUNCE HOUSES for the big and little kids! We'll have MARCH MADNESS playing for the basketball fans! Please bring CHILI or CORNBREAD to share! We will have salads and a big pot of chicken nuggets as well for those that don't love chili

It is such a gift to see our group of little ones growing so fast! ... If you would like to love on our littlest group of church goers we could really use more adults so that we can open up another room! Let us know if that's you!

God is using these pumkins in mighty ways!! Already the purchase of these pumpkins has blessed the children of Buyamba Uganda and at the end of our Harvest Festival tomorrow evening you'll have the opportunity to purchase these pumpkins for a donation to bless the children of Bukasa! So, be thinking about how you might be able to use a few of these pumpkins to bless your house for Thanksgiving and we'll see you tomorrow at 4!!

Buyamba Uganda Pumpkin Patch at Calvary is open until 5 tomorrow and we highly recommend! It's a beautiful set up with lots of gorgeous gourds! Our favorite part though--it's all set up on nice, cool, luscious grass

We have 3 ways we could use your help for our upcoming Harvest Festival on October 25 1. Bring your Living Oaks Lego City creation to church this Sunday! We will prep the whole city this week! 2. Drop off a pumpkin this Sunday for us to use as decor (you can take it home with you after the Harvest Festival)! 3. Bring a bag of Halloween candy this Sunday. Join us for Wonder Club today at 3! It's going to be jam-packed full of fun! We will do our usual tutoring, storytime and crafts (we're making shadow box picture frames), but we'll also be starting on our Living Oaks Lego City! We'll be rolling out the Lego table and baskets of duplos, but we also have 2 new Lego sets for the kids to put together together! Great teamwork is going to be happening today!

Calling all kids and kids-at-heart! We need your help to build our first ever Living Oaks Lego City! We're looking for houses, zoos, aquariums, parks, airports, police and fire stations, trains, lighthouses, vehicles, boats, skyscrapers, dinosaur parks, Star Wars aircrafts, tree houses, etc! Please have your creations turned in by Friday, October 16 so that we have time to put our city together! ... We will carefully mark your creations as yours and put them together to make one beautiful Living Oaks Lego City! We will display our city at the Harvest Festival for all to enjoy (but not touch)! After, we will return your Legos to you! Can't wait to see our beautiful church city!

We had our first Adventure Club hike this morning at Malibu Creek State Park! It was a wonderful time together Join us for the next Adventure Club on Saturday, November 14 at 10A for a Thanksgiving themed hike to a Chumash village and caves!

Happy Fabulously Fun Friday! Today's fun idea for you is to join us for our first Adventure Club hike tomorrow! We will be meeting in the parking lot at 1925 Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas at 10am. This hike will be suitable for all ages! Our focus will be enjoying God's nature together rather than getting somewhere fast. We will learn a little about the wildlife in Malibu Creek State Park, hear the story of David and Goliath and make our very own sling shots! ... Bring sunscreen, water, snacks and a hat and we'll see you there!

Happy Thankful Thursday Today we can be thankful for the night sky! There's nothing quite like laying down and looking straight up into the night sky to put everything in it's proper place. Even here, where the stars aren't so bright, it's a wonderful exercise.
