Happy ‘Wanda’ Wednesday! . ‘Wanda’ is what some patients jokingly call the transvaginal ultrasound wand/probe. We use Wanda to do baseline, IVF/IUI monitoring, and early pregnancy ultrasounds because it allows us to see much better than an abdominal probe. .
