To all of our beloved campers and friends of EHC: We are happy and very relieved to inform you all that as it currently stands, camp is safe from the Napa/Northern California fires! Despite a few moments of uncertainty when the evacuation line was only two miles from camp and the flames were visible from the top of the mountain, Enchanted Hills is safe and secure! A huge thank you goes out to our fantastic dedicated staff who took all the proper safety measures and precaution...s to protect camp and themselves, hosing down buildings and vegetation and packing up for emergency evacuation. The very smoky, poor air quality conditions camp has experienced the past few weeks is finally beginning to clear and #ReBuildEHC efforts and construction are back to business as usual! Thank you everyone for your concerns and well wishes for our beloved Enchanted Hills Camp. We can’t wait to reopen our cabin doors and have you all back again soon! Once a month from October to December EHC will be hosting virtual campfire nights, complete with all your favorite camp traditions from guest performances and speakers to ‘round the fire sing-alongs! To Our Camp Community, Thank you everyone for checking in on the facility status of Enchanted Hills Camp during the Glass Fire that has spread in the St. Helena/Calistoga areas and crossed into Santa Rosa. Right now the fires are many miles away from camp and the red flag warning has been lifted. It is very smoky and should be for the next few days but the winds have calmed and that is the ticket for staying safe.... We will continue to monitor the Glass Fire, (which this morning was still 0% containment) and wish for the best for our neighbors in Napa and Sonoma counties. Please keep us in your thoughts.
