CAMP ERIN ORANGE COUNTY is a weekend long bereavement camp for children and teens, ages 6-17, who have been impacted by the death of someone close to them. Locally this camp is hosted by the KP Caring Foundation and it is part of the largest network of bereavement camps in the nation initiated by The Moyer Foundation (www.moyerfoundation.org). Camp is filled with traditional, fun camp activities that are combined with grief education and emotional support - lead by grief prof...essionals and trained volunteers. Camp Erin Orange County, to be held July 19-21, 2013 provides a unique opportunity for peer bonding between children and teens facing a similar life circumstance. We are looking fo...r dedicated, compassionate volunteers to assist with our patients. It is rewarding to take care of others. Our volunteers are men and women of all ages working various jobs. 2012 Halloween Party!

On Sataurday 10/20/12 our Volunteer Manager, Ginger Askew held the first Transition Volunteer training to insure that no Hospice Touch patient has to die alone. There were 14 enthusiastic HT volunteers participating and preparing for their new assignments taking shifts with pt's in their last hours who may not have any family available to be with them. Hospice Touch is so lucky to have such dedication volunteers and staff!
