Training for a Flexed-Arm Hang Without a Pull-Up Bar In the world of tness testing, one thing holds true: the best way to train for a specic activity is to actually do that activity on a regular basis. If you don't have a pull-up bar at home, that shouldn't stop you from practicing the exed-arm hang; if you start looking around, you'll find that there are plenty of jungle gyms, support beams and railings that can take the place of an actual pull-up bar. Use these sturdy structures to practice the exed-arm hang at least three times a week, making multiple attempts with each session. Then when you're in the comfort of your own home, perform some other exercises that can strengthen the muscles you use for the exed-arm hang.
