Come work with us at LifeWorks! Are you an associate clinician looking to gain experience and supervised clinical hours? Join our counseling team! We are seeking a clinician to work in our outpatient counseling center as a therapist serving children, individuals, couples and families. This position is currently partially remote due to COVID-19 but is a full time, benefitted position. The clinician works with clients referred through Sonoma County Behavioral Health, Human Serv...ices and Redwood Children's Center with a culturally responsive, trauma informed approach. All associate clinicians receive individual and group supervision provided in a friendly, professional work environment. The Counseling Center is one of five unique programs offered by LifeWorks of Sonoma County. LifeWorks has been providing comprehensive mental health services since 1996. Check out our website to learn more about the work that we do: www.lifeworkssc.org Job responsibilities: Complete bio-psycho-social assessment (CANS) and development of treatment goals Implement evidence based practices and provide direct therapeutic interventions with clients and families Provide comprehensive case management support Provide crisis intervention as needed Complete progress notes and maintain client files Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as an agency representative Serve as a liaison to referral parties Maintain a full caseload and productivity requirements Work collaboratively with team members and staff Maintain organization and meet program and agency deadlines Work hard and have fun Requirements: Masters degree and registration as an associate in California (ASW, APCC, AMFT) Bilingual in English and Spanish Two years of experience in a mental health setting Experience providing trauma treatment to children Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply Benefits Medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits 13 paid holidays annually and accrued paid time off Individual and group supervision Regular clinical training and staff development Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All therapy sessions are provided via teletherapy. We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Joannah Ginsburg Ganz, LCSW. Joannah is our new director of both the School Based Counseling Program and the Counseling Center at LifeWorks. Joannah recently moved to California with her family. She has spent over two decades in nonprofit management and clinical behavioral health practice working with a wide variety of issues across a multiplicity of environments. Joannah values the work done at LifeWorks and is very excited to land in a state that deeply supports social service delivery. Joannah is also the author of six books on psychology and one children’s book. She is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania and Brandeis University, and is currently working towards a Doctoral Degree in Social Work. Welcome to the team, Joannah!
