#Election2020 is here! Your voice is important, and our government and communities need to hear from you. There are multiple ways you can #vote safely: Find a local Vote Center, which are open from this weekend all the way through Tuesday, November 3: https://eservices.sccgov.org/Rov?tab=vc. Vote Center hours are Saturday, October 31 through Monday, November 2 from 9am-5pm and Tuesday, November 3 from 7am-8pm. Don't delay to avoid the crowds! For everyone's safety, remembe...r to wear your mask and remain at least 6 feet away from people not in the same household as you. Find a local Ballot Drop Off location, which are open 24 hours a day: https://eservices.sccgov.org/Rov?tab=do. Vote by mail. Make sure your ballots are postmarked on or before Tuesday, November 3. Under California law, ballots may be accepted for processing even if they arrive after Election Day as long as the ballot is received by mail no later than 17 days after the date of the Election and is postmarked on or before Election Day. However, it is strongly encouraged to vote as early as possible and don't delay! Did you miss the deadline to register to vote? You can still use Conditional Voter Registration! You’ll develop trauma-informed tools to support survivor’s self-determination and increase internal capacity to support others who have experienced trauma. This session is co-presented by SCC Office of Gender-Based Violence Prevention and the Office of LGBTQ Affairs, and is part of the 27th Annual Domestic Violence Conference.

Today is #IntersexAwarenessDay, and we celebrate all of our intersex community members. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are with you. Thank you to interACT for highlighting the voices of intersex youth, and bringing awareness to their lived experiences and the physical and surgical harms they face from the medical field. This year for Intersex Awareness Day, interACT launched a series of essays from intersex youth, allies, and community members on the themes of intersex health and resilience.
