The more perfect the approximation to truth, the more perfect is art Maria Montessori. LePort Montessori's Solana Beach students recently completed a wonderful week of exploring, creating, and appreciating art as part of the summer curriculum.

Students at LePort Montessori Huntington Harbor just completed two weeks of robotic & science camp. This two week course focused on entry-level robotic builds that introduced students to building materials, as well as advances, principles, and theories of electric power, the center of gravity, force, walking robots, and so much more! There are still 4 weeks of summer left to be a part of a great Montessori summer camp program. With all the news swirling around COVID-19 we wanted to share some thoughtful and wise words from our friends at San Diego Family on how to support our children at this time. Stay safe and stay healthy.

In light of the most recent coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, and following the lead of local school districts, LePort Montessori has made the difficult decision to temporarily close our schools starting Monday, March 16th. Although we have been fortunate NOT to have had a confirmed case of COVID-19 within any of our schools, we are proceeding as a result of the rapidly changing public health outlook.
