Courts will be allowed to issue Unlawful Detainer (Eviction) Summons beginning on Sept. 2. However, keep in mind that several counties have enacted county specific rules pertaining to the types of evictions notices that can be served during this pandemic, and the legislature may enact other protections for tenants.
