Welcome to Episode 1 of our Flipping Series Premiere . This project lead came to us from a good friend and colleague of ours in the business. This home used to be a 3BD/2BA 1,500 sq ft home. The previous homeowners wanted to make this their forever home and designed a floorpan and started their construction plans and designs. . About a year and half into the project, tragedy struck the previous homeowners. Their contractor (former owners dad) was diagnosed with a terminal ...illness. Unfortunately the contractor passed away and the project was put on standstill (about 5 years to be exact). The previous owners never did finish the project but were ready to move on. . When I first saw the home it was evidently clear that it was in much need of dire repairs and corrections. The floorplan just did not make functional sense for an ideal family, so I went back to the drawing board with our team engineer and plans designer and we changed the floorplan to now a 4BD/2.5BA, 2,500sq ft with a 4 car garage. Added some eye candy to the kitchen, bathrooms, interior and exterior and made it a very custom ranch style forever home. . I must say our team did learn a lot during this project. From passing inspections, dealing with Mother Nature in an entire year, the challenges with construction and the remote location as well. . In the end our team designed a superb home that truly had breathtaking views from every angle, quality finishes, and a custom home like no other in Wonder Valley. When we listed this home, the entire neighborhood was in awe They truly could not believe it was the same home that sat once as the eyesore of the neighborhood. . Lastly I will admit that this was one of our toughest projects. Definitely learned a lot, met a lot of great contractors and connections at both the county and city levels and our team enjoyed the final finished product. . I dedicate this video to my good friend and plans designer Steven Ohanesian who passed away earlier this year. I learned so much from this man and will forever be grateful for everything he taught me in home building and designing. Thank you Steve and may you RIP my friend. .
