Glass Fire Survivors have until this Friday, 11/20, to apply for Disaster CalFresh. If you were impacted by the Glass Fire and had damage to your home, lost wages, or have other disaster-related costs (e.g., food, evacuation), you may be eligible for a one-time financial benefit to help you pay for food. Open today Monday, October 5th from 1-7pm and Tuesday-Saturday 10-7pm, the County of Sonoma and the City of Santa Rosa have opened a Local Assistance Center (LAC) at Maria Carrillo High School to assist those impacted by the Glass Fire.

Sonoma County residents impacted by the Glass Incident fires may be eligible for financial assistance from FEMA. An Individual Assistance (IA) declaration is required to register for financial assistance. Even though we don’t have an IA declaration for the Glass Incident, the IA declaration for the LNU Complex is still active and open. Sonoma County residents can still register with FEMA through the prior declaration and, if found eligible, file claims for assistance. Registration is available at disasterassistance.gov. The current deadline to register is still October 22.
