An Afternoon of Cultural Discover~A Children’s Workshop Join us for an afternoon of cultural discovery. In this class children will explore the unique painting of the Gond tribe from the country of India. These paintings have been around for over 1400 years and have many different meanings. ... Your guide Aubrie taught at a Montessori school for 7 years as well as ran after school art and cooking classes at the elementary level. She loves to be creative and especially enjoys embroidery, perhaps a future class series. Please join her as we create painting through cultural discovery. When: Wednesday, March 10 Time: 3:00 to 4:30pm Location: Left Coast Art Studio 1188 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos CA Same parking space as Celias Garden Cafe and Across from Ascendo Coffee Workshop Fee: $25 Max 5 children. So what does it mean to us at Left Coast Art Studio @leftcoastartstudio with the new (yet familiar) Covid requirements? It seems like I ask that question to myself almost every day. One clear message I keep getting is to transform and find new creative ways where I can still be of service for myself and others in our community, as well as doing my part when it comes to safety. ... How am I going to do it at these times? Great question! I have decided to stop doing workshops and classes for a few months. However, I am very proud to announce we can still have our charming studio open! We will be able to stay connected with you, masks on, and only 1 person at a time, as a Retail store. I have committed myself to use these times to fully support local artists in our community. That’s what I can do for now, and I feel honored and grateful! So if you are looking for ways to support local artists, stop by @leftcoastartstudio . You can also call, text, or email me at any time. We will have a beautiful selection of locally handmade art, gifts, and botanical skincare products. All our items are eco-friendly. Everything you purchase from our studio will be helping families in our community! That’s the way I am choosing to do my part, and I feel happy about it! Can’t wait to see you!
