The Third Sunday after Easter 04/18/21

What does it mean to live as God's Easter people? It means celebrating the fact of being His children! First John 3:1-7 will be our focus as we gather for worship Sunday morning at 9:00 both in person and online. Join us!

Second Sunday of Easter 04/11/21

Thomas experienced the resurrected Jesus by seeing and touching Him. John did as well, and John speaks of this in his first letter. Join us this Sunday as we begin looking at First John in these weeks of the Easter season and learn what it means to live as God's Easter people. Worship is at 9:00 Sunday in person and online.

Our weekly men's breakfast Bible study will be restarting tomorrow, Friday, April 9, at 6:00am at the 24th St Cafe! We'll place our orders for breakfast (or just coffee), we'll have time for prayer, then after eating we'll begin our study of First John probably around 6:30, wrapping up by 7:30. Come when you can, leave when you must! Hope to see you there!

Our Wednesday night Zoom Bible study continues tonight with an overview of the eight visions of Zechariah (chapters 1-6) and his message of encouragement and hope. Holy Thursday 4/1/2021

This First Sunday after Christmas we see the 40-day-old Christ child brought to the Temple and greeted by the much-older and Spirit-filled Simeon. Do we recognize the signs of the Savior present with us? God bless and guide you to see and give thanks for the Savior today!

Tomorrow is the third day of Christmas and we'll celebrate the 40th day of our newborn Savior's life as He is brought to the Temple and greeted by the much-older and Spirit-led Simeon (Luke 2:22-40). Join us for worship at 9:00 as we recognize and welcome Jesus, born for you and for all!

Surprising experiences for the prophet Jonah are our focus this Sunday as we give thanks for God's call to speak of Him without fear. Join us for worship tomorrow at 9:00!

This Christmas morning we give thanks for the ordinary and the extraordinary, for the natural and the supernatural, for Jesus Son of Mary and Jesus Son of God. We'll focus on John 1 and give thanks that Jesus, the Light who has come into the world, comes to us in our darkness with His gifts of life and light and salvation. Merry Christmas!

Holy Week Update

So many things in the news and in our lives, it's easy to miss what matters most. Especially when it happens in a little town like Bethlehem (Micah 5:2-4). God bless you not to miss what matters most: Jesus Christ, born for you. Because of Him, you can dwell secure, for He will be great to the ends of the earth.

Join us for worship at 9:00 this Sunday in person or live streamed via Facebook Live. We'll focus on 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 and Paul's teaching about the end times. Some of his hearers were worried about the "Day of the Lord" and others were complacent. We'll give thanks for the Lord's Word and the encouragement that He offers!
