We had a solid experience with the Leo Baeck Temple Men's Retreat in DTLA. If you're going to ever do a walking tour, start from Grand Central Market and hire Downtown LA Walking Tours. Successfully got out of The Virus Escape Room Presented by Get the F Out (fun experience!).... but one of my favorite experiences was getting out of my comfort zone with a "Homelessness Tour" of Skid Row led by the amazing Avram Mandell with Tzedek America. Met with founder Danny Parks of Skid...row Coffee who is a former designer for Nike (for hire for events!!!). Last, but not least, going to support Allison Maldonado and the Skid Row division of School on Wheels, Inc. making donations for kids on the Row.
