I started off my redshirt freshmen year at 141lbs with a 26-14 record and a 30% bonus points rate. I ended up losing in the blood round at NCAAs. The next... three years at 133 lbs I went a combined 91-4 with a 78% bonus point rate. I was a was a 2x National finalist and 1x NCAA champ (Unfortunately didn't get third shot). From the day I lost in the blood round to the day I made the national finals a year later, I didnt take a day off. When you want something bad enough, you obsess over it and do whatever you can to attain it, even on the days when its easier not to. Right now is a great time to close the gap on your opponents and chase down your goals. Whether its watching film, learning new technique, doing 1000 pushups. Don't stop til you get where you want to be.

Congratulations on a great season. Yesterday we hosted the the NVL Wrestling tournament and we walked away with alot of hardware. 1st place Tyson Timmins 2nd place Syrus Olvera... 3rd place Frankie Monachello 4th place Dominic Smith , Nathan Greiner-Hicks, Jeremiah Olvera, Vincent Smith, Ryland Bauer, and Oscar Espinosa As a team we finished in 5th place (out of 15 teams) taking home a team trophy. Lj loses a close one agaisnt Washington middle school 48-30. Every match was a a back and forth battle and it came down to the final 2 where we fell short. Individual wins by Tyson timmins, Syrus Olvera, Vincent smith, and Francisco Sanchez-Lopez.

LJ defeats cross town rival Technology middle school 58-18. Big wins by the tonights captains, Tyson Timmins, Syrus Olvera, and Vincent Smith, all three remaining undefeated on the season. Solid effort from the JV squad getting their opportunity to step on the mat and wrestle tough. Now we are preparing for the final week of the season with a huge matchup against the mighty Cloverdale Eagles next Tuesday.
