GATE/SAS Parent Conference: EVENT CANCELLED We regret to inform you that due to confirmed COVID-19 outbreaks in California, the GATE/SAS Parent Conference, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, is cancelled. The decision to cancel is an attempt, to the greatest extent possible, to protect the health of hundreds of parents, family members, educators and support staff from across the District who planned to attend this large-scale event. While health officials stress that the risk of COVID-19 to the general public is low, it is out of an abundance of caution that this large-scale event is cancelled. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Please note that the Conservatory of Fine Arts program will not be meeting for the remainder of March. Should we be able to reschedule the final events, we will notify all Conservatory families.

Saturday Gifted Enrichment Success Academy for African American Students (Grades 6-10) The District’s Access, Equity and Acceleration Unit has expanded capacity and extended the deadline for student applications to the free Saturday Gifted Enrichment Success Academy. This program is designed for gifted African American students in grades 6-10. UPDATE: Starting on Monday, August 24th, Grab & Go Food Centers will change their hours of operation. The food centers will be open Monday through Friday from ...7 am to 10 am. This change will allow students and families to have ample time to pick up their meals and eat before online classes begin. ACTUALIZACIÓN: A partir del lunes 24 de agosto, los centros de comida para llevar Grab & Go cambiarán su horario de operaciones. Estarán abiertos de lunes a viernes de 7 a 10 am.
