Due to recent changes from the USDA and CDE, TUSD is now able to offer FREE meals to all TK-12 students effective September 3. We also will be adding an add...itional meal distribution day on Friday and, coming soon, are working on deploying TUSD buses strategically around town to expand meal distribution sites. A NEW meal pickup program will begin on Monday, August 10, the first day of school. There are a number of changes in the new program... IMPORTANT - Next week, every MCS student will receive a barcoded ID card in the mail. In order to pick-up a meal, this card MUST be presented and scanned by MCS staff. Once the card is scanned, the student will receive one breakfast and one lunch. Only MCS students can participate in this program. Starting August 10, all meal pickup locations will be open from 10:35 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Five schools have been added to the schedule. In addition to the 15 previous locations, Fairview, Garrison, Martone, Robertson Road, and Sonoma will host meal pickup. All of this information, including the current and new pickup schedules, is available on our website at mcs4kids.com under 2020-2021 School Year Information.
