COVID-19 Update (June 5): The Laurel Cyclery is open for pick up of completed repairs and online orders. Curbisde walk-up service for in-stock items is also available. If you have purchased a bike, please confirm that we have built it for you and schedule an appointment for pick up. We apologize that we are not able to take on new repairs at this time. We extend repair priority to essential workers, immunocompromised people and/or houseless folks. If you fall into one of these categories, or have a unique situation that defies category, please contact us at the shop or laurelcyclery (at) gmail (dot) com.

We got broken into tonight. Thanks to my big brothers, who interrupted the plans of certain individuals, losses and damage were minimal. Thanks also to my neighbor Randolph at RBA Creative who also got hit and was on the scene before i got there. We're still cleaning up, so I'll save further thoughts for later.

THANK YOU, OAKLAND for trusting us with your cycling needs. In May 2020, we have served 400+ essential workers, families and everyday cyclists. The recent turn toward cycling is profound and awe inspiring. Very high demand for bikes and repairs has got our humble shop maxxed out for the moment. We've got to finish a whole lot of existing orders before we can take on more in good conscience. We are open today, Sunday, from 11-3! NOTE: THE LAUREL CYCLERY WILL BE CLOSED THIS WEEK FROM MON. 6/1 TO THUR. 6/4 to catch up on repairs and bike builds. During these dates, we'll offer pick up of completed repairs and previously purchased bikes only. We'll be back on Friday June 5 ready to once again take on whatever you've got! Thanks again for your support and for bearing with us in meeting the challenges of the new normal.
